For a consultation on purchasing an instrument please contact The Violin
Shop for an appointment. We also have cases and accessories.
When you purchase an instrument through The Violin Shop our continued service goes with you. For as long you own your instrument, we will never charge you for sound adjustments or gluing of seams (a common occurrence).
All repair work on your instrument will receive priority scheduling and a 25% discount. This does not include maintenance services such as replacement of strings or a professional clean and polish. |

| TRADE-BACK POLICY
As your skills progress our trade-back policy will keep pace. If you or your child have advanced beyond the limitations of your instrument or bow, we can help you find a new one that won't hold you back...without breaking the bank.
We will gladly trade back an instrument (from the original customer to whom the instrument was sold) toward the purchase of another instrument owned by the Violin Shop, which is of higher value; this policy is not available on consignment instruments and/or bows. The trade back value will not exceed 50% of the price of the new instrument less any necessary repairs. We deduct from the value of traded instrument for cracks, scratches and other damage: in serious cases devaluation is necessary. Note: Excessive scratches take a great deal of time to retouch and can be costly. Please do your best to minimize the amount of scratches on your instrument.

 |
The trade-back policy also includes the following routine procedures at no cost:
Cleaning
Planing the fingerboard
Replacing the strings
The trade-back value on bows will not exceed 40% of the new bow, less any repair work needed.
